How Air Duct Cleaning Provides Allergy Relief

A professional air duct cleaning is a "source removal" process. We use agitation tools to scrub the caked-on mold, pollen, and dust, and a powerful HEPA-filtered vacuum to extract it all.

By removing the source of the contamination (especially from the evaporator coil and drain pan), you are no longer circulating millions of allergy triggers. This can provide significant relief for those with allergies, asthma, and other respiratory issues.

Frequently Asked Questions

• What is that "musty" or "damp sock" smell from my AC? That is a classic sign of mold or mildew growing on your evaporator coil or in your drain pan. This requires an immediate professional cleaning.
• My home is brand new. Are my ducts clean? No, in fact, new homes are often the dirtiest. They are full of construction debris, drywall dust, and sawdust, which can be very irritating to your lungs.
• I have pets. How often should I clean my ducts? If you have pets, we recommend a cleaning every 2-3 years. Pet dander and hair are major contributors to duct contamination.
• Will you spray chemicals in my ducts? No. Our primary method is physical, source removal. We do not spray chemicals unless you specifically request an EPA-approved antimicrobial sanitizer, which we can discuss with you.
